Refused service based on Race

Entered ATT Store located at 5108 Broadway, Suite K-108, Oakland, CA 94611. There were 3 employees and one customer in the store. The Manager greeted me and I explained why I came into the store. He advised me it would be a few minutes before I would receive help. Another customer entered the store and the Manager greeted the customer. The Manager immediately sat down to help the other Customer despite my being there and waiting before another customer came in. Those that believe it justified to harm others due to the color of their skin are pure evil of the highest order. Don't be confused about that.

Shame on that manager if true but you should not assume that was due to race. That other customer could have had an appointment or other possible reasons.

I wish that were the case. Unfortunately, it was clear it was based on race. It was made clear to me by the second employee. Apparently it's important to ensure I didn't leave assuming it wasn't was based on skin color.

I think you need to knock the chip off your own shoulder. The manager came up and spoke to you and told you right away that you were going to have to wait. That means he was watching the clock and expecting someone who had an appointment.

The second employee approached you and confirmed. Did you receive service from the second employee?

It is clear you did not read or failed to comprehend the post. And, it is wrong to suggest I need to knock a chip off my shoulder. You are using the phrase incorrectly. And, attacking my experience and adding insult to injury is mean and you should examine your motivation for doing so.

There are infinite possible explanations for this. Maybe the other customer had an appointment. Maybe it was actually the store’s accountant or maintenance worker, and the store was expecting them. Maybe the store just didn’t like your attitude.

You provided zero evidence that it was racially motivated other than basically saying “I just knew it.” Inappropriately playing the race card is itself an act of racism.
