Number Sync to Separate Account

I bought an Apple Watch for my daughter from my account, but she has her iPhone from another account that is not mine, and it does not allow me to sync, that is, it does the process but does not activate sync (cellular), in the Watch.

If your intention is to add cellular service on your account and for her to use number sync to sync the watch on her account, it may not work.

According to AT&T's information the phone in the watch should be on the same postpaid plan. But there have been rumors of people who have got it working on separate accounts as long as they are both on the same service provider.

You can activate cellular service on the watch by adding a line to your account with the assistance of support. Your daughter has to set up numbersync on her phone line and then sync her watch using the same ID and password.

Not saying it will work.  But you can give it a try.
