Lost or Stolen Phone – Things To Know From AT&T

Locate_Phone_Stolen.pngLosing your device is everyone’s worst nightmare. We have information below that will help you:

  • Find Your Device
  • Suspend Your Device 
  • Report it to us

Find Your Phone

This is a great way to find your device if you misplaced it. If you belive you device was stolen, please contact your local law enforcement.

  1. Sign in to icloud.com/find or use the iPhone app.
  2. Open Find My iPhone
  3. Select the device to view its location.
  4. Using Lost Mode, you can lock your device with a passcode.
  1. Sign into android.com/find
  2. Select the device you are looking for
  3. A map will display the last location 
  4. From here you can play a sound, secure your device, or erase it
  1. Sign in to the account associated with your device or activated app or add-on:
  2. Follow the prompts to call the device or find it using GPS.

 

Things to know

  • Find features allow you to play a tone, lock, erase, and may allow you to display certain messages
  • An account will need to have been setup prior to losing your device
  • Report lost or stolen devices to law enforcement
  • Reset all passwords of Find Your Device options have not been setup. This includes emails, banking and any other apps or accounts
  • Location is approximate and might not be accurate
  • If your device can't be found, you'll see its last known location, if available

Note: If you did not setup an account as mentioned above, you may not be able to locate your phone.

 

Suspend Or Report Your Device Stolen

I recommend suspending your device until you find it. If your was being shipped and lost in transit, please chat with us

No find my phone app installed.

Without the Find my iPhone app, there is no way to find your phone. AT&T can only track a phone with a court order.
