Lg G4 At&T Address Book. Unable to remove on Tracphone / Tmobile network
I just unboxed a new LG G4 today from TracPhone SafeLink. Its bad enough that they claim its on TMobiles network and a Tmobile phone but came packed with a bunch of outdated AT&T applications which is pretty useless since I am not on AT&T.
When I go to make a phone call or try to open my contacts it keeps going to spinning circle of "Opening AT&T Address Book" and trying to access an AT&T sim card which I do not have. Its a Tracphone Tmobile sim!
Anyway I went into Settings > Apps and there is not AT&T Address book anywhere to be found. No where does it exist in Application manager, nor anywhere running in active applications.
Appears this is a stock software embedded into the phones core build, and since now the app is discontinued, it is broken.
The only way I have found around this - is to install a third party phone contact app and dialer.
AT&T should push out a firmware update do remove this broken bloatware from your phones, let alone selling out older phone to a Tmobile carrier?

Just got an "unlocked" LG g4 today, same problem. AT&T contacts keep opening every time I open the phone's basic contacts application and it's super annoying.
