No. HBO Max is not included with any current plan, only grandfathered plans.

Why ATT terminated HBO Max?

@mizdmitry No one can say for sure why but probably because ATT no longer owns Warner Media which is the company that owns HBO.

@mizdmitry AT&T sold Warner Media which owns HBO and HBO Max. They could no longer offer HBO Max for free. If you have HBO and your cable TV HBO subscription includes it you may still have access.

ATT sold DirecTv (purchased summer 2015),  DTV Stream and Uverse IPTV in July 2021 to DirecTv.

ATT sold Warner Media (purchased June 2018) to Discovery July 2022.

ATT primary business is now fiber cell towers for cellular service and direct fiber for business and residential service.

From an earlier company statement, ATT expects to provide 75% of its current footprint with direct fiber (50% of estimate 60 million hardwired is 30 million) and 25% of estimate 75 million total is 18.8 million….

this would be 48.8+ million residential addresses having either direct fiber or 5G wireless availability.

Note this does not include the wireless customers outside of the Hardwired footprint.
