ip6 contract vs contract free

I just wanna know if at&t can soon release the contract free version of ip6?

Apple suggests that ip6 will start at 199 with a two-year contract or 699 without a contract. However, the price of adding one smartphone into any at&t plan is $15 for a contract free device v.s. $40 for a contract device. If I have a two-year contract with at&t, in fact I am gonna end up paying $100 more for my device and services.

I know it sounds weird, but the total cast does go up if I sign a contract with at&t to show my 'loyalty'. I do hope that the contract policy could somehow return a little back to what it used to be one year ago, or I hope that I could as soon as possible get a contract free ip6 rather than sign a contract to pay more.

You can use NEXT and still keep your discount. With NEXT, you pay full price, but you pay over 20 to 26 months, depending on which plan you chose. Instead of paying the full price up front, you get almost 2 years to pay for your phone but keep the $25 per line discount for being "contract free".
