International call restrict

I have placed international call restrict on multiple cell phone lines on my account many times but I keep on getting charges for international calls

Till 1 hour ago I could see international call restrict as an "add on" on my online account

After talking to the last customer care representation, I am not seeing that feature any more.

I was wondering why AT&T makes it so hard for the customers to place international call restrict on their wireless phone lines. It should be a feature, which I should be able to add or delete through my online account like International day pass

But for some dubious reasons, AT&T is making it harder and harder to add or remove this feature, with the latest change that I can't even see if that feature has been added or not.

If you call and talk to a representative, they inform you that the feature has been added. When I call 1 hour or 1 day later to confirm, it is informed to me that the feature is not there. The next representative informs me that the feature has been added again with the same result.

It is extremely frustrating, so say the least

If the settings are the same as they were 3 years ago, there is a box which says '$0 international calls'  and there is either a box or a bubble next to this line item. If this box or bubble is filled in it will allow calls outside of the United States at pay per use rates which can be as much as $4 per minute.

Removing the check from the box or the bubble blocks the ability to make long distance calls out of the US.

This is not the same as the $0 travel pay per use, which is for roaming, not long distance.

You might want to have a chat with those who are using your service plan and tell them they may not make long distance calls. I realize that could be difficult with children and older people.

Unfortunately I don't see this option of "$0 international calls" on my online account.

I can't believe that in today's time, AT&T is making it so difficult to evaluate/ change the status of international calling.
