Maybe. I could be wrong but I think you have 30 days to add insurance.

Nope. Insurance says you have 30 days only.
I am not a fan of insurance and don’t believe it make good financial sense. I bank the money we might have spent instead. Since we have only had 3 losses in 22 years, we are way ahead
