Insurance on the wrong phone

I bought Iphone XS Max(buy one) and Iphone XR(get one) from BOGO promotion by adding new line(now suspended phone). But old line (not the new one we added) is using the Iphone XR, the get one phone. And I just noticed new line is getting the insurance not the old line that is using iphone XR. And get one phone credit, insurance and all that bill is being applied on the new line. So in the future if Iphone XR(get one phone) have a situation to need to use insurance, it can't?
Is there any way to solve this problem? Please help me, thank you.

I talked with customer service and they said insurance are associated with the phone not the line. Hope it is true.
