HTC Desire unlock
Hello, I'm experiencing difficulties unlocking my HTC, which I bought off-contract. I tried using https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/?#/unlockrequest, but the service is unable to process my request. Error I have recieved: Error: We found no record of the IMEI Number you entered. Check your device's 15-digit IMEI Number by dialing *#06# (errorCode.ULP2003)

That error is usually because the phone was never used on the AT&T system. Since it was bought off contract, why not buy the unlocked version from the beginning and not have to go through the hassle of unlocking?
