Free HBO with Unlimited Plus Mobile Plan - Credit Expired?

I've had the AT&T Unlimited Plus Mobile plan since April 2017.  I received the free HBO Credit on my AT&T U-Verse TV bill ever since.  In the middle of April of this year, HBO was turned off, unprompted.  I had to call AT&T and they told me there was some glitch in their system and they added it back.  They said it would take 2-3 billing cycles for the creidt to reappear.  It never did.  I called tonight (9/22/18) and they told me HBO expired with that plan June 29th, 2018.  Since it expired they can't reapply the credit.  When I look at my plan on their website, it still shows I should be receiving "Free HBO".  They told me the only way to get it back, would be to upgrade to one of their new premium plans.  Upgrading plans would give me the same benefits I have now, but cost me $20/month.  Wouldn't make sense to upgrade.  Has anyone else experienced this issue? Are you still receiving your HBO credit with the older Unlimited Plus plan?  Any help will be appreciated.  I fell like I got bait and switched.

That’s a bunch of baloney. You should get the free HBO restored. You should also get bill credit for any months they charged you. Do not accept that answer. File an FCC complaint.

I agree, it should be restored and a credit applied.  I have called and spoke to no less then 8 representatives.  I don't know who else to call for help.  Or how to get someone on the line that can help.  I've asked for supervisors, loyalty department, etc.

I'm considered filing a FCC complaint.  Do these lead to anything?

An FCC complaint will get someone from the Office of the President to contact you. If they can’t or won’t resolve it, no one will.

Filed the FCC complaint. They contacted me 3 days  later. The guy still couldn’t figure out how to apply the HBO credit, but applied a different credit that took care of me and doesn’t expire. Thanks for the recommendation.

@ChrisDiPlo  I signed up for the Unlimited Plus plan in April 2017 also. I have been receiving a charge for HBO and receiving a credit for HBO on my bill ever since. So them telling you it has expired is is a lot of you know what.  See link below on free HBO
