Firstnet non sworn law enforcement

I signed up for first net as a non sworn law enforcement. We are state licensed for security.  Specifically we bid on government contracts for private security on public property.

Ie the subway system in Chicago.  We literally have stopped (Edited per community guidelines)ual assaults, battery, robberies ect.

We stop the act and call the police to meet at the next station.

Chicago does not have the funds for full time police to ride the EL all day.

I sent a copy of the contract with my Illinois state license and was told we don't qualify.

A dog catchers high school kid gets first net but the people who stop (Edited per community guidelines)s don't.

Please explain,  when I call the operator at first net agrees that I should get it but they can't help.

Accepted Solution

Sarcasm noted.   Animal control officers are indeed officers, employed by the town and a uniformed police officer in most towns (they are in mine).

Private security is not the same thing.

Firstnet is a Government subsidized network.  They determined who is and who is not a first responder.  Complain to the fed

SheerID is the one who sets the verification qualifications.

Chief dog catcher is a elected position in some towns. In Chicago I quote

"Chicago Animal Care and Control protects public safety and ensures the humane care of animals through sheltering, pet placement, education."

When a deer is hit, does the state police clean it up?

How about thier kid, in high school?

How about the people the POLICE hire when they don't have the funds to pay union officers?

All of that's irrelevant. The federal government decides who qualifies and who doesn't not AT&T. Complain to the Fed

Again, you are screaming into the void.

The First Responder Network Authority, or the FirstNet Authority, is an independent agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) that oversees FirstNet, the nation’s communications network dedicated to emergency responders and the public safety community.

FirstNet is controlled and authorized by the feds.  AT&T is just the provider of the service that is offered.  Write your Congressman.

First net customer support said it was up to SheerId.

SheerID says it's up to Firstnet - At&t.

Did this 3x

I sent the Illinois representative  for firstnet a message, Paul Ebel.

No response as of yet.

because it's up to SheerID, as Firstnet told you. Nothing to do with ATT

SheerID said it was At&t.

I'm not looking who came first,  the chicken (At&t) or the egg (SheerID)

I know the Rooster came first, just who is the Rooster?

No it's not (Edited per community guidelines) Durban. (Congressman) I already asked him personally.

At this point I'm wondering how to get a hold of Hunter Biden.

What does ID.ME have to do with SheerID or At&t. I'm not in New Jersey or Kentucky.and I'm not looking for discounts on medication.

Per ID.me website.

The name I gave is on the website for the state of Illinois.

I didn't give the name or home phone number of the president of SheerID,  even though I have it.

Please explain Non- sworn law enforcement.

It's a option when signing up on the Firstnet website.
