I saw that but I would consider that more of a job description, not a job title.

Is “Non-sworn Law Enforcement Officer” a Job Title?   You walk in and say “I’m here to interview for the job of Non-sworn Law Enforcement Officer”.  🤨

FROM OTTOPYLOT" Private police or special police are law enforcement bodies that are owned and/or controlled by non-governmental entities. Additionally, the term can refer to an off-duty police officer while working for a private entity, providing security, or otherwise law enforcement-related services. "

Thank you for a

greeing.  That is exactly what we do. In Illinois it falls under

225 ILCS 447/) Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, Fingerprint Vendor, and Locksmith Act of 2004.

Illinois police can not just show up on there day off and declare they are security.

They must legally fill out a state application with background check, pass a exam. Then they can work for my company with my license and insurance.

The exam has a 92% failure rate on the first try.

Can anyone else agree that what we do is non-sworn law enforcement

We can't actually.   Not our job.  Not our clearance that's required.

If the job description does not match a job description that is eligible as a first responder, then authentication fails.

It makes absolutely no difference what we think or what we write here.

This has to be ironed out between you and the federal government. Only then is FirstNet going to include you or anyone that works for you as eligible for FirstNet

You are determined to make this an AT&T issue when it's not. Again this is a federal subsidized network. The Fed determines who gets discounted, who is included, what job titles are deemed by them to be a first responder.

There's absolutely no point in continuing a discussion when you're not going to get any answers here that make any sense. AT&T does not have the authority or ability to change first net qualification.

@Bzpsoo

Leave the generational insults at the door. Knowing the difference between a post, a thread, and a forum existed before the World Wide Web so back before the internet became all access instead of point to point. This knowledge coming from someone who is well before "millennial".

Posting on a forum is similar to posting on a bulletin board. The board is the forum. From context it sounded like you wanted to shut the whole thing down, but we now understand you were referring to just a particular thread (a.k.a. discussion).

No sure why this thread is still going on.  This has just become a giant slap fight.  There is no question for AT&T, or not one that is going to be answered in this forum anyway.  Let the OP file his FOIA request and whatever happens, happens.

Formallyknownas votes,

Nobody here can have a opinion to think if what we do is non sworn law enforcement

I'm just looking for opinions.

Would Mark be alive if there phone had priority service. Especially on a crowded platform that has overwhelmed cell service.

I agree. Time to close the thread because it is going round and round and not getting anywhere.

Id.me does not have anything to do with firstnet,  or att

I'm looking for Firstnet definition of non-sworn law enforcement.

Firstnet has not been able to give me a written definition

Nor has SheerID.

How do I get there definition?

The 2 are the company's involved.

ID.me IS NOT INVOLVED.  thank you for googling Unfortunately your source is wrong.

ID.me is not even allowed in Illinois.
