Family app update.. looks like it's been hacked

Hello, tried to open the family app this morning and got this weird screen.  With all the symbols, doesn't look right.. maybe it's been hacked??

Yes, we tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it.. got the same message.. I don't want to hit the update until I know it's really an update from ATT.    I am trying to go through ATT security and sent them an email with the screen shot of what the app is showing.

We hate that you're unable to use the Secure Family app on your device, @!

Let's look into that for you! We want to advise that our support teams are engaged and working to resolve this trend on affected devices. In the meantime, it's recommended that those encountering this trend on their devices try the following solutions which seem to work well with others:

  1. Make sure you're using a smartphone. AT&T Secure Family only supports iPhones or Android smartphones, and does not support feature phones, Windows phones, or Blackberry phones.
  2. Check the software version of both the parent and companion app.
    • To check Android OS version (varies with the type of Android device): Settings > About phone > Software information > Android version
    • To update the Android OS version: Settings > Software update > check for updates

Give these a try and let us know how they worked for you!
