Hello there @tanksi, we're here to assist with your iPhone rings to extend.

You can extend the ring time for up to 30 seconds. Here are the steps to take:

  1. Dial *#61# from your phone and send.
  2. On the screen that pops up, look for a line under Voice Call Forwarding that says Forwards to + followed by an eleven digit number.
  3. Write down the eleven digit number and tap Dismiss.
  4. Dial **61*+ and the eleven digit number, followed by *11*30# (if you want to have the full thirty seconds ring time; otherwise, enter less where we have 30 listed but enter it in increments of five.) There should be no spaces between the + and the eleven digit number and the *.

We hope this information helps.

Ashley, can this be undone if I wanted to change back to a typical 20 second ring?

If you want the phone ring for 20 seconds:

  • Write down the eleven digit number and tap Dismiss.
  • Dial **61*+ and the eleven digit number, followed by *11*20# (if you want to have the full thirty seconds ring time; otherwise, enter less where we have 30 listed but enter it in increments of five.) There should be no spaces between the + and the eleven digit number and the

I was able to do this on my iPhone 13 pro, but on my husband's iPhone 11 pro it didn't work. Also, we both received the same 11 digit number. Is there another solution for the iPhone 11 pro?

Hi tanksi! Let's meet in a Direct Message (DM) to discuss changing the ring time on your husband's iPhone 11 Pro.

Please check your Direct Message Inbox for a message being sent to you. Look for the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums page.

In case you want to know more about extending the ring time prior to voicemail activating check out the information under Choose from six ring settings when you visit Change number of rings before voicemail answers.

Make sure to watch your DM. We want to look into this for you so that the ring time on that iPhone 11 Pro is updated.
