Error Message ERR0093-WS when Updating Emergency Address for WiFi Calling on Iphone Xs Max

I'm attempting to update my emergency address for 911 calling.  I've followed every piece of advice when entering.  Using ALL CAPS, tried CT and COURT, Using Post Office address, etc.  My old address is in there.  I don't live at that address anymore so I definitely need to have it updated. Please help.

I know all that information. That response you provided didn’t help my issue at all. As I stated, My issue is that I’m receiving an error message - Error Message ERR0093-WS to be exact, when I try to update the existing address that is already there to a brand new one that is completely different from the address that is already there!!

Thank you for your reviewing our recommendations @CapsFan75.

The address you're attempting to use as your as emergency address may not be updated to the E911 address database.

Make sure your device is updated with the latest software and try power cycling your device off/on and removing/reinserting your SIM.

If you're still unable to update your emergency address, please contact Apple support for further assistance and research.

We hope this helps.

It was great talking with you again today, Michelle!

I escalated that new case to our team to update your current address in their system (without altering the billing address on the account) so that you may start using Wi-Fi Calling.

Your new case number is CM20210707_150129222 with an expected resolution date of July 08, 2021. We'll reconvene to review the results once the case reaches a resolution. I'll update you on the status as information is made available.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

We're going to take a look at a few of those options. iOS 12 Tip :Reboot Your iPhone, Turn off Cellular Data, Turn off WiFi Calling, then turn on ...

Hey there, Michelle!

There are a couple of steps which may help resolve your device's inability to retrieve the e911 address from the provisioning server.

  • Power down your device, remove the SIM card for several minutes, reinsert the card into your phone, then power the device on again. For this particular instance, make sure Cellular Data is enabled on your device before powering it off.
    1. From the Home screen, select the Settings app.
    2. Select Cellular. To turn cellular data on or off, select the Cellular Data switch.

After reinserting your SIM card and powering on your device, you may notice a message stating setup will complete soon. Network provisioning could be delayed. There may be up to a 24 hour delay in recognizing your current e911 address.

  • After performing the step above, and if your experience persist, you may need to power cycle your device and attempt to update your address via e911 again.
    1. Simultaneously press and hold the Side button and the Volume up or down button until the slider appears.
    2. Then select and drag the Power icon to the right.

Give this a try and let me know how it works!

I am an iPhone 12 Pro user and I have exactly the same issue stated in this post. Followed the instructions posted by AT&T a day ago, and the problem still exists and is not resolved.

Try a different address close to where you live and see if it goes thru.  The address may not be in the database right.

Hey there Michelle!

Our team is looking into your case. As communicated, your case number is CM20210804_150441232 and the expected resolution date is August 9, 2021. By then, your current place of residence (new address) should be updated in e911.

Once a resolution is reached with the case, you will receive a free SMS message notifying of its closure. We'll then reconvene to review its results.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your evening!

Hello Michelle!

It took several tries, but we were finally able to update the e911 to include your new address in our system so that you are now able to register your address to the Wi-Fi Calling e911 service.

Thank you for participating in our Community/Forums. We're here for assistance with AT&T products and services.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
