Does AT&T not consider nurses first responders?

At&t does not consider nurses as first responders. Not even emergency room nurses. I wonder who they think will take care of them when they show up in the ER, fall out in public, have a wreck, etc. A lot of times a nurse will come to someones aid when a police officer or paramedic isnt around but they arent first responders.

Just to update information, as of today Monday April 13th AT&T has added nurses and doctors to its First Responders list for the Firstnet network. It is also up the ante by offering three months of free service as well as a continued discounted unlimited service

And somebody posted how delivery people like FedEx, postal service carriers, grocery store employees, who are stocking the shelves with food, and the truckers who are getting the food to the grocery, on and on and on.

Firstnet is the governments subsidized network. Take it up with your gongressmen/local representative.

Neither AT&T, T-Mobile nor Verizon consider doctors or nurses to be First Responders. Because you are not First Responders.

Even if you work in the emergency room.

First Responders are defined as firefighters, police, Emergency Medical Services.

Your cell phone is not required for doing your job.

@lizdance40 so the US First Responders Association is incorrect when nurses are listed in their list of First Responders?

🤨. Gimme a break, they list tow truck drivers, among others, which are not included in the list for any carrier.
AT&T, and all the other carriers are allowed to give a discount to whomever they choose and exclude whomever they choose.
Two years ago it's stopped at military and Veteran only. They have now extended it to police firefighters in EMS.
