Can't verify subscription on MAX

I have the ATT Unlimited Elite and MAX is included. I'm trying to log in to MAX and the MAX website says that it "can't verify subscription" and to contact your provider.

I have looked online for some help and I have changed my password for ATT like some suggested, and that did not work. Can you please help?

I have the same problem.  i've had max for years. now it cant verify me. even though i have unlimited elite and haven't changed a thing.

It appears to be a gross mis-communication between AT&T and Max, which is now its own company. For folks who had the Ad-free, 4k HDR/Atmos plan, AT&T/Max does not offer an upgrade path to continue with that on Max, you need so subscribe to Max directly, and pay for it. As a result, the whole migration of credentials and services has been a mess. The transition was supposed to be complete by around Dec. 5th so hopefully AT&T and/or Max will issue some sort of clarification email on who gets to keep what and who doesn't.
