Cannot login to AT&T thanks app

It gives an error 

“uh-oh an error has occurred. Please check back later. Code: 401 -ID Customer Profile-1000-No accounts Found”

 

I can login to my att account and check my bill and manage my att account, however when I use the same for att thanks. It gives the above error.

have been contacting the att support team, but to no avail. Very disappointed have been an att customer since 10yrs

Hello @Villena,

 

We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into why you're unable to sign in to the AT&T THANKS app. Have you made sure that you have an eligible service with AT&T? DIRECTV, U-verse TV, AT&T Internet and Wireless accounts qualify for AT&T THANKS benefits. Also, please be sure to use the full User ID that you would normally use for myAT&T, including any email info if your User ID normally includes the @ email reference. You may need to also make sure that your account(s) are properly linked to your AT&T User ID. You can Learn how to link an account to your User ID at the link provided. Let us know if this helps.

I tried to reset the password multiple times, spoke with the tech support and customer support, they have already verified that I have a valid account and couldn’t probably know what is the reason and have escalated the issue and wanted me to wait for a call from ATT it’s been 3 days, and haven’t received any call.

Do you recall what department was supposed to get in contact with you? Also, have you tried reaching back out to them? Feel free to let us know to better assist you.

I am right now on call with ATT Customer support after a 12 min Wait to get to customer support.

it was the higher up to an agent at customer support/technical team.

The call went on for 1hr 30 min, no resolution the agents took my ID and password and they had the same issue logging in.

on the other hand the technical team that the agent was talking to mentioned that they were able to login to the account through app, website and have no issues. 
the customer support agent (manager)tried to login using my credentials from her end and found that she cannot login either. 
the customer support agent let me go after 90min on the call and said she would call back after she gets this issue resolved with tech agents or if that not the case would try and reset the whole account let’s see

Was promised a call back in the next 35 -45 minutes. Haven’t received any call back, I feel like I was played into hang up the call at that time. Haven’t received any call back or atleast an email or text saying that they are working to get this resolved

I'm also having this issue. I was able to access app until a few months ago. Maybe after a software update? Its pretty annoying still getting notifications on offers & deals, but not being able to take advantage of any.
