Auto-Pay Promo

On 12/8/16 I signed up for auto-pay via an e-mail promotion I got that said after 3 months of good standing in auto-pay I would get a $50 gift card to restaurant.com I have now gone through 4 billing cycles and have not received any information about how to get the gift card. When will I receive the gift card? I went back and forth with reps on the AT&T Cares Twitter but they kept asking me to call. I don't have time while I'm at work to call, I don't understand why this can't be taken care! Was this a scam?! I have the e-mail confirming I singed up for auto-pay through this e-mail but I don't want to attach it because it has personal info.

I am glad I found this post, because I signed up for Auto Pay with the same promotion. I have yet to receive the gift card, and I've been on Auto Pay for 4 months thus far.

I never received the gift card. After going back and fourth for so long I gave up, on June 21st someone from AT&T called me and sent me an e-mail regarding the issue. I was so tired of explaining myself at that point I didn't call back. Anytime I called in the beginning I would get passed around and put on hold. I don't have an hour or more to spend on the phone with someone continuously explaining my situation. 

 

Be persistent with them! I've found quite a few people signed up for this promotion and never received the gift card. AT&T did credit my account $50 this month which I do appreciate but I won't be signing up for anymore of their promotions.
