AT&T Wireless Users Displaying incorrect CNAM for our calls

AT&T Wireless Users Displaying incorrect CNAM for our calls, no issues are found when calling the other carriers and the issue pertains exclusively to AT&T Inbound Caller ID. Numbers are registered, Hiya is deferring to AT&T and I'm not sure what is the process for non AT&T customers to get AT&T to update the entries on whatever CNAM Database you are reading this incorrect information from.

Before we get started, we will need some more info to better assist you.

  • Is CNAM display showing incorrect for Inbound callers only?
  • Is it all AT&T Wireless subscribers?
  • Are AT&T Landline users getting the same thing? 

The reason why we are asking these questions is to find out where the problem is coming from and to provide the right soloution.

Hello Mellira,

Thank you for looking into this, here are the answers;

Is CNAM display showing incorrect for Inbound callers only? Yes, don't have much visibility over the AT&T side, but that's all that was reported;

Is it all AT&T Wireless subscribers? All AT&T Wireless subscribers as far as we can tell;

Are AT&T Landline users getting the same thing? That's correct, we manage another customer with an AT&T SIP Trunk that shows the same incorrect Inbound Caller ID when we place test calls to some of its numbers.
