AT&T Store

I have visited the AT&T store in Bossier City, LA on Airline Drive twice in the past month. I went there several months ago to inquire about my Direct TV account with no help. They handed me a phone and pretty much told me to call them myself which I did. During the past month I have gone in there with two different inquiries, one about my upgrading my tablet, and today for filing an insurance claim on a phone, but I wanted to see about updating the phone instead, kind of compare the two, and I also wanted to ask about the AT&T TV. When I walked in the day I wanted to see about upgrading my tablet, they told gave me a card and told me to go home and do it myself, pretty much. Today when I told them what I needed, a woman walked up to the guy who I was talking to and said, "before you help her...and she pulled him to the side and told me to take a seat. Then when she left I had to start over telling him what I wanted. He took me over to some 5G phones and had no information to show me about the phone. Since he had no information I just decided to go ahead with the insurance claim. He told me I could go home and do that online. I said, but I need some help and I also would like to know about the AT&T TV. He said that insurance claims are handled online. I told him that I had to do one a few months back for another phone and someone did it for me. It was obvious that wasn't going to happen this time. I asked if someone could tell me about the AT&T TV. He acted like I threw a curve ball at him. Then he gave me a card. This is the third time I have gone in this Bossier City store and received horrible customer service. They hand you a card when you go there and tell you to go home and get online. I went in there a couple of weeks ago and all the employess, about 5 or 6 people were sitting around doing nothing and no one could help me. I was given a card and told to go home and get online. Today when I left I just could not believe that this is the new AT&T customer service, so I went to another store in Shreveport, LA which is right across the river from Bossier City. It is on Shreveport Barksdale Hwy in Shreveport. I walked in an told Cameron what I needed. He immediately began to help me. He sat down and pulled up my account. Then showed me how much I would need and what we could do to get me into a 5G phone. He did everything for me. The customer service at that store was completely opposite of what I received at Bossier. He even told me how my husband could bring in his ID card and receive a discount on his phone since he works for the state. I would have never thought to ask that. I got a great new phone for my husband at the Shreveport store on Shreveport Barksdale Hwy, and I was so happy with Cameron and how he helped me. I left the Bossier City store so disappointed and thinking I would have to to home and do everything myself, but I just decided to try another store and had a great experience in that store, and I left a happy AT&T customer once again. I believe that you need to have someone go to the Bossier City Store. It is a disgrace to AT&T, and I am sure you have lost customers because of that store when they go in there and receive no help whatsoever. You walk in. You tell them your needs, and if you are not sure about buying a phone...you don't walk in and tell them you definitely want to buy a phone right now, they give you a card and send you away. It is pitiful the way they represent AT&T. Please check into your AT&T store in Bossier and I was told that the one on Youree Drive in Shreveport is just as bad, but the one on Shreveport Barksdale Hwy is wonderful.

Insurance is handled by assurion not At&t.

While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. It doesn't matter what the insurance is handled by. when I walk into a store and I tell them I need help either with an insurance claim or I want to look at a new phone and I also want some information about AT&T TV and I am thrown off and told to take a seat after being interrupted by another employee as if I am not very important, and the employee cannot even tell me about the new phones much less anything about AT&T TV, the representation and customer service (Edited per community guidelines).
