att prepaid account -> cannot completely disable "AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security"

I want to turn off draconian AT&T protections temporarily in order to receive OTP via SMS from overseas.

Unfortunately for the last 2 days I've been getting an error message whenever I attempt to turn off something called

"AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security" on the ATT prepaid website. The other 2 protections are already off (they are called
"AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security" (huh?!?!?) and "Video Management").

Why are there 2 "AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security" UI widgets one after the other??!?!?

The first shows ON and the second OFF.

The way these widgets are laid out on the screen makes zero sense to me.

My biggest concern is that this is not a 1 off temporary issue.

It probably has been there for weeks or maybe months and there is no solution in sight.

Tell me that my fears are unfounded.

Hello, @zozes_fuzos! We can help you disable the AT&T Active Armor app.

To disable AT&T Active Armor:

Go to Settings in ActiveArmor mobile security.
Tap Account and choose Remove Service.
Choose one of the following:
On your iPhone - confirm that you want to remove AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security.
On an Android phone - select AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security.
Tap Remove to finish up.
