AT&T MOBILE SERVICE PRICING FRAUD

Over a year ago i had and "In Home Entertainment Agent" come to my home along with the DirectTV installer and asked if i would like to switch my mobile service to ATT.  I chuckled and told him NO because ATT is outrageously over priced.  He asked questions and I answered them than IN WRITING he told me he could get my 3 lines with 2 free phones and 1 phone on an installment plan for $125/mo this was to include taxes surcharges etc etc and my DTV bill would be $35/mo.  Well for the past 14-15 months i have been on the phone, chatting and going to an ATT store where i actually showed them everything in writing because my combined billing for both svcs is close to $300 every month. F**K that.  I am done.  I am disabled and have a budgeted income i cant afford this anymore   especially with food, gas and housing prices escalating to homelessness.  My previous carrier was $90/mo for 3 lines unlimited everything and my DTV was only $45/mo.  I was lied to by every person i spoke with, chatted with and met in person the works for ATT.  THEY DON"T CARE, heck the guy who came to my house no longer works for ATT  I can see why.  The way i see it ATT owes me money so my phones should be paid for they should unlock all 3 of my phones send me a check for the remaining balance and than i will be on my way back to my previous carreir ,   Thanks ATT for this wonderful forum you provide so I was able to spread the word...that is if you dont delete my story.

No, your story won’t get deleted. Just FYI, those in home specialists are ATT employees. If you have that offer in writing, you should escalate to corporate by filing an FCC or BBB complaint.

@sandblaster   Did you mean to say that those in home specialists are NOT ATT employees?

 

I thought any D2D sellers were independent contractors and not AT&T employees.

@skeeterintexas No, they are employees. The in home specialists that show up when some other service is being installed are ATT employees, not independent resellers and not door to door sales.

But how long does it take for the SEC or BBB to get back to you I don't have that time my bills due tomorrow can't afford to do that 300 anymore can't afford to have a tick on my credit if I just go to another carrier tired of chatting talking going into AT&T trying to get this straightened out and yes it is in writing and you would think that upper management would have already seen it I mean I saw these guys send the email to their manager and I haven't heard anything back but I have to go towards AT&T day anyway so I guess I'm going to stop back in the store and raise some (Edited per community guidelines)
