Call protect is based heavily on the "Hiya" app...on Android at least. Unlike call protect...hiya can be used on phones without advanced features enabled.
I just use it to filter spam. Though it has a crappy caller ID function that pops up during calls. I disabled the ID feature because its slow.
ATT has now rolled call protect into the security app. I use my own apps for security.

No such notice for iOS, I wonder if there will be. I can't see a need for the app security or system security features since ATT does not touch iOS. They probably couldn't get such an app approved.
