App won't load

AT&T Call Protect is a great way to safeguard your device. Let's see what's going on.

Let's start with uninstalling the Call Protect app and then reinstalling the app. You must have active AT&T postpaid service and your LTE service turned on. If LTE is disabled, the app won’t work and you may have to set it up again.
Also try following steps -

  • Enable Background App Refresh (via Settings/Call Protect). Then open the app and wait a few seconds.
  • Make sure Settings>Cellular>Cellular Data is enabled and Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data is set to LTE.
  • If it is still not operating correctly, Reset Network Settings on your mobile device.


AT&T Call Protect is automatically disabled if you move your SIM card to a device that:

 

  • Isn’t AT&T HD Voice-compatible
  • Doesn’t have AT&T HD Voice enabled and LTE turned on.

You can go over the basics for activating Call Protect on iOS devices before trying your next set up.
