Make sure that you have the most recent software update on your device to ensure that you have the latest features and device protection options.
Then access our Device Support tool by navigating to our AT&T Wireless support page. Once you've reached this webpage, select Get suggestions. Next, choose your device type which is located under change device. Lastly, go to Services>Device pairing (NumberSync). You'll be provided with personalized solutions based off the requested details specific to your experience.
If you're still unable to pair with NumberSync, try these troubleshooting Solutions.

There are two "Messages" apps on recent Samsung smartphones -- one by Google and the other is Samsung's I guess - totally different version numbers. Are you saying there's an AT&T-branded "Messages" app that is constraining NumberSync and is this a recent change (June 9) since everything worked just find last week without that new AT&T app.

In 2022, Samsung smartphones will use Messages by Google as the default messaging app. If you’d like to use AT&T Messages Backup & Sync, you’ll need to switch to the Samsung Messages app located in the Samsung folder on these devices:
• Galaxy A53 • Galaxy S22 • Galaxy S22+ • Galaxy S22 Ultra

My watch as been giving me problems the last 2 weeks. Constantly turning number sync off and today and I cant get it to restore the connection. It disabled my connection all together. When I select get started on my watch, it tells me to check my phone but the att website will never load completely. If I go to att and try to sync from there, the website fails that way to. Im over att, since 5G towers on and 3G towers off, I have even worse service than I ever have had.
How can we improve?
