ActiveArmor VPN not working

Hello - since upgrading to the new iOS, ActiveArmor will not let me use the VPN. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and restarted my phone. I have the paid account and am receiving the following error: “VPN is disabled”. When I go into settings and slide the switch, it just shows the wheel *thinking and never connects. Please help
