Accidentally linked my friend's HBO Max account to my att account
I accidentally made my friend's HBO Max service provider my att wireless account. I wanted to unlink it and make my own HBO Max account for my family to use but cannot find a way to unlink the service provider on either end. I have looked through a lot of forums going through both HBO and att and they both claim you need to go through the other service to fix this issue. I cannot find anything in my att account settings to even see the HBO Max settings.

Hey there @fcruz115, we'll be happy to sort out what's going on with this HBO Max and AT&T account.
You can change the service provider by turning off auto-renewal and then create your own HBO Max account and subcribe, you can also try changing the email and password of your friend's account as well. There are more account and subcription related troubleshooting options at HBO Max's help center.
Thanks for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums.

Thanks for letting me know to turn-off my auto renewal with a link I already read. I still cannot find a way to cancel my auto renewal on my att account like that link suggests. I cannot change their email and password that is my friend's account I will not do that to them.

Hello @fcruz115, we are here to help you with canceling auto-renewal for your HBO Max account.
Learn how to cancel subscriptions for HBO Max here. As stated in the article, you will want to cancel from whoever it is that you signed up through. To find who will be billing you, click open the field Who's billing me? Then follow the instructions that are provided.
Once you've signed in through myAT&T, you will want to follow the steps under manage subscriptions.
You can also learn how to add, manage, and switch profiles by visiting HBO Max's Help Center.
Let us know if this helps!
