cell booster

I have basically no cell service unless I am outside. I moved into this home in 2015 and AT&T provided me with an Mcell, which worked great. It has now bit the dust and is no longer supported. My wifi enabled calling is pitiful. Will AT&T provide me with a booster at no charge?

No. The MicroCell may still work depending on what the issue is but the service itself will be discontinued sometime between Feb. 2021 and Feb. 2022, whenever AT&T shutsdown its 3G network. WiFi-C is what AT&T and us recommend now. WiFi-C should work fine as long as your phone is capable (WiFi-C is not the same thing as WiFi).

The MicroCell is not a cellular booster but a femtocell, and they still work. If you are interested in cellular boosters, see my Cellular Booster Guide (link is in my sig line). If your MicroCell is truly dead and WiFi-C doesn't work for you, then your only other options are to purchase a cellular booster or switch carriers.

No. ATT does not provide boosters. That you would need to buy on your own.
