Android TV BOX versus ROKU

The cheaper ROKU is wireless only and the Android box (T95m) that I am looking at is wired.

Anyone with a little input as to the T95m box would be greatly appreciated. There are a lot of

claims out there regarding get any channel free and they are referring to the T95m box.

All I am interested in is the Discovery channel, Fox News, History, and Hallmark.

I have Directv Now and a ROKU. I find the ROKU is hard to navigate, but it works

with a little buffering now and then. That's why I am thinking going wired

Well I can tell you that the Android box will not work on DTVN. DTVN will see it as a rooted device. If you want to keep the box then stay away from DTVN.

Does your response indicate that I can get Discovery, History , Fox News
Etc. with the box and not have to subscribe to DTVN ?
I am not familiar with the term rooted.
Thank you for your rsponse
