DURING SIGN UP PROCESS I WAS ASKED IF I NEEDED A DEVICE TO STREAM. I CLICKED YES, AND FREE DEVICE OFFER CAME UP. I PICKED APPLE TV, FOLLOWED PROCESS AND PREPAID FOR 3 MONTHS. ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT DEVICE NEEDED TO USE SERVICE WILL NOT BE ARRIVING FOR SEVERAL WEEKS. THIS INFORMATION WAS NOT DISCLOSED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASED AND WAS ONLY FOUND IN THE FAQ SECTION. TO SELL A SERVICE, HAVE THE CUSTOMER PREPAY FOR IT AND IT CANT ACTUALLY BE USED IS ABSOLUTE FRAUD! I DID NOT GET THIS SERVICE TO WATCH ON A LAPTOP OR PHONE. IT WAS FOR MY TV. COMPANY OFFERED PLAYBACK DEVICE BUT NEVER DISCLOSED TIME IT WOULD TAKE TO RECIEVE DEVICE. CUSTOMER PAYS FOR THE THREE MONTHS OF SERVICE TO FIND OUT THAT WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO USE 2 MONTHS DUE TO NOT HAVING THIS DEVICE. DIRECT TV NOW IS ENGAGING IN DECEPTIVE AND FRAUDULENT PRACTICES. ASKING CUSTOMER TO PAY FOR SERVICES THAT THEY WILL NOT HAVE ACCES TO UNTIL THE DEVICE SELECTED ARRIVES SEVERAL WEEKS INTO THE SUBSCRIPTION. I WILL BE CONTACTING FCC AND STATE OF WI CONSUMER SERVICES. I ATTEMPTED TO GET REFUND AND WAS DENIED VIA CHAT ROOM WHICH IS THE ONLY FORM OF COMMUNICATION BESIDES THESE FORUMS. THEY REFUSE TO ESCALATE TO A SUPERVISOR NOR FIND A SOLUTION TO AN ISSUE. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THIS SERVICE, STAY AWAY! DO NOT SIGN UP. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND THE COMPANY IS DECEPTIVE.
