Why should I register for the community?
Want to join the community? Registering is the first step and required if you want to participate. Registration enables you to:
- Post new messages and reply to other members' posts
- Receive email when someone responds to a specific post or topic
- Exchange private messages with other members
- Personalize your community experience with hundreds of customization settings
- Post comments on blogs that don't allow anonymous comments

What if I don?t register? Can I still participate?
Even if you don't register, you can participate to a limited extent. You can:
- Browse
- Search for information
- Read posts
However, if you don’t register, you can’t:
- Post
- Give kudos
- Interact with other community members
- Set customization preferences
Note that blogs are one exception: some blogs let you post comments even if you're not registered.

How do I register?
It's easy and it only takes a minute!
To register:
- Click Register at the top of any page.
- Enter a login name.
- This is your screen name in the community. It displays whenever you post or send private messages.
Tip: Most people create anonymous names to protect their privacy. Be creative, have fun t, but choose carefully. Once you complete your registration, you can’t change your login. - Enter a password.
Tip: passwords are case-sensitive. It’s a good idea to include upper- and lower-case letters and numbers for security.
- Type your password again.
- Type your email address
- Type your email address again.
We’ll use this email to send you subscription notifications or if you forget your password. We’ll never share your email address with anyone. - Are you the only one who uses this computer?
* Check Remember me on this computer to automatically sign in when you visit the community.
* Enter your First Name and Last Name.
* Make sure the Time Zone matches your
location. - Click Register.
- Look for a confirmation email and click the activation link to validate your registration.
Note: Internet browser cookies must be enabled to register and sign in to the community.

How do I sign in?
Registered and confirmed? Sign in and join the fun!
To sign in:
- Click Sign In at the top of any page.
- Enter your login name and password
Tip: If you're the only one who uses this computer, click Remember me on this computer to sign in automatically next time - Click Sign In.

Click Need help with your login name or password? - We'll email both to you.

Oops. I've forgotten my password. Now what?
Forgot your password? Not to worry. If you have an email address on record, we’ll send your login name and password to you.
To get help with your password:
- Click Need help with your login name or password? Look for it at the bottom of the page.
- Type in the email address you used when you signed up with the community
- Click Reset Password.
If your email is on file, we'll send your login name and a link to reset your password to that address.
