I’m from WI. and traveling to Mexico. Will I be charged roaming fees for phone calls? Is it free to use my phone in Mexico? Do I need to contact ATT before I travel to let them know I’ll be in a different country?

I am taking a cruise to San Juan, st mart, st mitts, Barbados, Antigua what do I need to do to maintain cell service and the ability to control home devices (Nest etc) whil I am away.

I have ATT prepaid ($300/yr). On a recent trip with another ATT customer, I did not get any phone connectivity and had to use my companions phone to make a call. O had no service while she had LTE! Back at home, everything is back to normal. When traveling, I MUST have the ability to make calls.

I am travelling to Argentina next month and I would like to use my att phone. Is there a way i can do this while I'm there? I have a 45 dollar pre paid plan. Thanks.
