Thank you! I didn't know Uverse also controlled the landline. I talked to the Uverse folks at AT&T and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I do have Uverse, but not the wireless or the voip/digital phone service. Thanks again for trying to help and for your suggestions.
lol. Sorry - I didn't mean that U-verse controls the landline. I just thought you had to have at&t's landline service to have U-Verse, so that maybe the U-Verse users would be more up to speed in the landline area of AT&T's service. But now that you say that - U-Verse probably uses an internet connection (rather than a landline connection), so that may not not really have been any better of a thought than trying out here.
It's just frustrating when these companies are so large that it's difficult to find the department that offers the support you need.
There must be a happy medium somewhere between being totally informed and blissfully unaware.
