Coopster - I believe you do not need to do both hide and favorites. They each provide the same abbreviated guide with different good/bad.

Most people seem to like the hide - probably because it applies to the guide button.

I would not use it because it is way too onerous to build & will hide the channels offered during free previews.

Favorites is way easier to build & preserves the full guide for free previews. It is a two extra button pushes to view a favorites guide.

How do you like channel shortcuts - No building - Too many button pushes to view - not enough filtering for me.
