As such live performances have a tendancy to do, it probably ran longer then the original scheduled time.  The DVR probably quit when it was supposed to end, per the schedule given by the broadcasters in advance.

Because the concert was scheduled to end at 1130 CST, it actually went until a little after midnight. I didn't make it any longer than billy joel myself.

I haven't watched my recording yet, so I guess I have the same issue.

I just watched my recording of the 12/12/12 concert.  It was scheduled for 4 hours 30 mins. and obviously went past that since it stopped in the middle of Billy Joel. 

I'm mad at myself for not thinking to add time (one hour?) to the scheduled recording.  After all, Springsteen was playing and he's notorious for running well over.  Didn't they pull the plug on him in London earlier this year?

Maybe it is avalable On Demand.

The dude in the jeans and skirt combination (Kanye West) went well over his 10 minute alloted time.  His set came in around 23 minutes. I know most people wouldn't have cared if the concert had gone even longer. For the most part it was awesome.
