I've been having this issue for the last few weeks: My DVR will show a list of shows that are schedule to record with no conflicts and once it's time to record the dvr will either not record the program or record only the first or last 3 minutes of the scheduled program. In the last 2 weeks I would say 3 out of 5 shows have failed to record or record the full program. Currently the DVR shows that there is at least 16-20 of HD recording space available. Also we have had this box for about 3-4 years.

I have restarted the box a few times including a full power down of the DVR box and router. I would like to avoid having to get a new box since I have so much currently recorded. Any tips or tricks would be very helpful. Thanks!
