Called to cancel ATT Long Distance.
Spoke with Jarod {edited}, and he told me of Uverse.
He also gave me his number {edited} that I have called 4 times leaving messages with NO response.
This is what he said..
Total cost per month for 6 months $125.00
$7 for internet
30 for phone
$88 for Uverse 200
&125 TOTAL for Six Months
12 Meg speed Hmax Normally $ 55
Giving Feb price of 45-38= $7
$30 for phone with unlimited
TV is U200
$ 67
+ $ 10 for all HD channels included
= $77
+ $ 21 ($ 3 per box = $ 21)
$ 88 TOTAL
In July, goto 3meg Internet called HS Pro
$ 300 install fee waved
12 months x $ 15 = 180 will be credit for early term from Dish NW (to be credited on first bill)

Installers came and installed 3 boxes total, not 4 like requested.
Could not port phone over??
1-23-10, Called "Bryan" because I could not receive HD channels. He said that my package only had them free for three days. I told him that they was supposed to be part of my package. He said that he did not want to change anything because there was an order to port my phone over. He said that it usually took 7 days to do that. I also told him that I could only pause live tv on the main box and he said the workaround was to record the program first. I said that was not the same as pausing live TV. I told him that I could only watch HD on one tv at a time. He said it was because of the distance from the optic cable. I was not informed of this when I placed the order.
I asked about 4th receiver. He said that I would be charged a $55 install fee. I said that I should have gotten it from the beginning. He said that considering the situation, he could wave the fee. He said that there was an order to port the phone over. I told him that I knew that and that the installer could bring the other box when he came. He scheduled the installer for 1-29-10 a Friday between 9 and 11am.
1-29-10 My wife took off of work so that she could be there with the tech. I checked that status of the appointment at about 11:00 and realized that Uverse had rescheduled with out notifying us. I called Uverse AGAIN and first spoke with a "Michael" who was no help at all. I told him that I was going to throw the equipment out. He relayed me to Lori {edited}. She was able to confirm some of the stuff was accurate, but told me that my bill would be $30 higher than quoted.
She was able to see some notes from Jarod (first person I spoke with), but they didn't reflect what we had actually talked about. She didn't know anything about Uverse paying my early term fee from Dish Network. She said that Jarod should not have told me that he would pay the balance of the contract (12 x $15 = $180) She said that she had sent him an email and that he would contact me at about 5 pm CST... WELL, SUPRISE, SUPRISE... NO JAROD..
I STILL DON'T HAVE A SOLID ANSWER ON WHAT I AM GOING TO BE CHARGED. I AM STILL PAYING FOR DISH NETWORK FOR FEAR THAT I MIGHT HAVE TO GO BACK TO IT.
