This EXACT same thing just happened to me. I called 4 different times and spoke to representatives to try and resolve the problem, to no avail. The online shopping cart price I was quoted was $92 a month plus tax, and this included all equipment rental fees and free installation. When my first bill came it was for $150, and the discounts applied in the bundle online were not posted to my account. I can go to the website right now and build my current package and the offer still exists and populates all the fields for the $92/month.
On the phone to the customer service reps, after the 4th person and countless minutes of valuable time, they were able to reduce this down to $120, and say that my future monthly billing will be about $105 plus tax. This makes no sense to me and I really do feel like I have been baited and switched. Plus, after reading other posters experiences, now I have to worry about not getting the rebate card promised and the potential for disconnect/reconnect charges from the reps modifying the account.
I will pm the rep here in this forum with my account information and hopefully get this resolved. But if not, then what other options do I have? Who knew signing up for tv and internet could become so difficult.
