NBC Olympics Login

Has anybody else tried to login to the NBC Olympics page? I can get through step 1 and select "UVerse". Step 2 is supposed to be where we post our Uverse credentials, but right now it goes to a blank screen. I've tried all browsers in Win 7. FF, Chrome, IE 9 both 32 and 64 bit versions.
Has anybody else run into this and figured out the magic of geting to work?

I have the exact same problem. I have found an authentication page where I can enter my credentials, but then it takes me to a page that doesn't exist. I have tried to re-enter the URL where the live feed is listed, but then it tells me to enter my credentials again. When I select U-Verse, it takes me to a blank screen.

Yes. I've disabled all extensions in Chrome but still don't get the authentication text boxes in step 2. are you using any extensions?
....and why if I hit Shift-a it highlight's all text like I did a Ctrl-a? I'll save that for a different post...annoying.

I've been trying since yesterday morning. I can go to the authentication screen itself (it's buried in the full HELP/FAQ) & I can use my username/password there. Then it takes me to a 404 page & tells me that they can't find the page I'm looking for.
I'm using the correct username/password.
I still get nothing but a blank screen on the pop-up screen after I choose my provider service.

I have the same problem too
, after logging in it says :
It looks like your TV subscription does not support access to NBC Olympics Live Extra. Please contact your TV provider. A current subscription to a TV video programing package that includes MSNBC and CNBC is required for access to NBC Olympics Live Extra.
although I'm logged in with my uverse account.
any one have any idea ?

All I had to do is choose ATT U-Verse from the Click and Begin red banner and choose step 1, then it went to the congratulations page and everything comes up. ![]()

Are you folks still having an issue logging into http://www.nbcolympics.com/liveextra/index.html to watch Olympic coverage?
(btw - we are aware of the Shift + A issue and are working quickly to resolve it)

Have you tried clearing your cache and then logging in using http://www.nbcolympics.com/liveextra/index.html?
What browser are you using?

This might be of help to some. I was having the same issue on Google Chrome latest update and tried clearing cache etc. I tried with Internet Explorer and Firefox as well and had these results.
Internet explorer took me to the ATT login screen and then back to nbc olympics page and said I was now able to watch.
Firefox took me to Att login screen and then back to nbc olympics page and about 30 seconds later I got a pop up saying I was ok to watch.
Went back to google chrome and just takes me back to step one every time. Loving a challenge and being in IT, I decided to investigate further. This is what I found after some work. I am using Mcafee Anti Virus with Windows7, I have also reproduced same thing on Windows Vista. Mcafee had Google Chrome in it's firewall setting set to Outgoing, but Internet Explorer and Firefox set to full access. I changed this to Full access and tried again and still no luck. I then went into chrome cleared the saved passwords for Https://cprod* there were 2, cleared my cache again, exited out of browser and went back to nbcolympics liveextra page, did the setup and it worked.
It is my hope this might help some. To summarize
Go into McAfee Security Panel (be wary and do so at your own risk I take no resposibility if you have problems)
Go To firewall
Click Settings
Click Internet Connections for Programs
Click on Chrome and Select edit
Set to outgoing
click save
Exit McAfee
Open Chrome
Click wrench in upper right corner
select settings
scroll to bottom and select show advanced settings
click managed saved passwords
** If you have a ton like I do, I just searched on my Att Uverse login name and after 3 letters it came up
I clicked the x next to the 2 that started out cprod*.att.net (* replaces the extra characters as there were 2 different ones)
Click Ok
Click Clear Browsin Data (I also made sure to select Deauthorize Content licences along with the other items)
exit out of Browser
Open Chrome
goto Http://www.nbcolympics.com/liveextra/index.html
You should see get signed up to watch, it will ask you your provider, I clicked att uverse, it will then take you to an att login site to put in your userid and password, I used same one that I use for uverse online, when you hit enter after your password it will come back to nbcolympic site with a circling icon for about 10 seconds depending on your connection and tell you congradulations.
Hope this helps, so far this has worked for me and 4 of my friends that use chrome.
Walter

I am using Mcafee Anti Virus
That's you're first problem right there. Out of all the A/v Programs available McAfee is one of the absolute worst. I work tech support for a major software company and I wouldn't recommend McAfee to our competitors, let alone our customers.
Glad you got it figured out, but do yourself a favor, when your paid period runs out for McAfee, uninstall and clear your registry of any existance and download Microsoft Security Essentials. Better than McAfee and free.

That's a slightly different issue, but an issue all the same.
Are you able to login elsewhere with the username and password you're using?

How about a solution that doesn't require weakening the anti virus protection. I have Norton and get the 'you don't have cnbc and msnbc' message. I get espn 3 live videos fine without a problem which also checks. I went to the local att store and they talked to tech support but 4 hours later I have no answer. I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS!!

I'm sorry you're having such a difficult time logging in.
What is the exact error message do you get?
When you do you get that error message?
Are you able to login to the site or do you get that error as soon as you access it?

I get the same message as above:
It looks like your TV subscription does not support access to NBC Olympics Live Extra. Please contact your TV provider. A current subscription to a TV video programming package that includes MSNBC and CNBC is required for access to NBC Olympics Live Extra
This is ridiculous as I subscribe to your 300 level service!! I don't get how it is a computer related issue as I get the same message on my ATT Skyrocket PDA!! I visited your Monterey, CA retail store yesterday and they got it to work with my password by disabling cookies, but this did not work on my home PC hard wired to the modem. They put a call into technical customer service but there has been no response....

I am also having the same issue and am incredibly frustrated. Using Safari 6 on a MacBook Pro, I go to the main page, then select "AT&T U-Verse" as my provider. I then wait for a couple of seconds - without yet entering my username and password - and a box pops up and says that I cannot subscribe because my U-Verse package does not contain MSNBC or CNBC (it does). When I attempt the same on Chrome, I get through the log-in page (and enter my username and password) and then get served with an error page.

Do you have to be at home using the ATT U-Verse network? I was able to watch streams at work as long as I was logged in to my U-Verse account. That lasted only a couple days though. Now I'm getting the "Your TV subscription does not include CNBC, MSNBC, etc etc...." It's kind of annoying.
<CM Edit - pic wasn't showing up>

You should be able to login, regardless. Thanks for the pic of the error, that's really helpful!

Read the "solution" and skimmed through the threads on this issue--blank screen when it should provide a login screen for entering my uverse user id and password. The solution does not work for me since I have an intel imac, run safari as my web browser, but do not use Mac Affee software. I cleared my cache and turned off my Apple firewall in hopes of getting the screen to sync up, but no sucess. Any other suggestions on how to address the issue? Thanks

I email NBC, thank god they were able to help. Below is the directions they told me too follow
The authentication process is done by your provider.
Steps 1 thru 5 fixed my problem
Try the following to see if there is a setting on your computer that is preventing you from authenticating:
1. Navigate your browser to: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en
2. Make sure "Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer" and "Store common Flash components to reduce download times" options are both checked.
3. Move the "Specify the amount of disk space..." slider to 100 KB.
4. Navigate your browser to: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en
5. Clear the Flash Player Cache by pushing the "Delete all sites" button.

New problem:
"A network error occured when communicating with the provider's authorization service."
When I click "Try Again" the same thing happens. I'm pretty sure this is on ATT's end, I've cleared every cache, restarted, and upgraded my flash player. Here's a pic:
