Hating AT&T Uverse...nothing but problems since installed. Technicians only have 1.5 hours per install, Wireless TV box interferes with iPhone signal and I didn't ask for a wireless box, nor did I need one-I have to go into the street to make a call. Now they want to charge me to change the box out, I've had a cable strung across yard for 4+ weeks waiting for their "crew", waited 30+ mins and talked to multiple "Customer Service" Reps today, now I am recording to this conversation which now that I'm thoroughly aggravated sounds like nothing but a rant! HATE THEM!!!!! Ridiculous people. Recording 40 minute convo and hope to post to YouTube if they do or do not fix my problem.

1. Technicians are afforded all the time they need to do an install, if it takes 6 hours such as mine did, they stay until it's completed, if not you shouldn't have let them leave.
2. Not possible, your phone and UVerse wireless are on completely different frequencies. As for the wireless reciever, if you didn't want it, you shouldn't have accepted it.
3. If the box is bad, they will not charge you, but the reps on the phone have to let you know in advance they MAY charge for the truck roll.
4. Your cables should have been buried within 10 days, this one you have a legitmate complaint on.

I'm sure that some shops do put pressure on techs to finish them as quickly as possible and are evaluated on the number of calls they can complete in a day. However, this is not AT&T standard policy to get a IPTV install done in 90 minutes, and it should be brought to light where it's occuring.

I agree, none of my 3 installs have been less than 4 hours and my last install at this house was 6+. That's why it's best to try and get a 1st or 2nd appointment time for any tech services.
What's bad is this guy drug up a post that is almost 3 years old.

Probably not even a UVerse customer, more than likely a comcast plant.
