I don't know, since all of my Xboxes have the Uverse software installed, but I would imagine that it doesn't since with Xfinitity and Fios you can download the application directly through XBL and you still can't do that with Uverse.
It seems to me that eventually an Uverse subscriber should be able to do a self install downloading the software through XBL...
