The easiest way I've found to record a program on 5 days a week is to pip browse to that show on one of those days and press 'record' 2 times and it will set up a series recording for that program. This is a fool-proof method to record that program, I've been doing it this way for a show at a specific time that repeats at least 2 times each day and for 3 months it only records that specific time and none of the other times. There've been many posts about the DVR screwing up what it records by using the 'record series' option RC recommended.
