The program will retrieve stats off the RG even if there is an intervening router if you put the IP address of the RG into the program in the box at the top. This is clearly explained in the ReadMe file.
I'd also like to thank you personally after I spent 8 hours of my own time yesterday writing this to release to the community for free, that the first words out of your mouth were that it's "useless". That is of course, before you read the documentation that has already addressed your concern.
