Ok, i get that for many users, I won't say most because I doubt any gamers  want it. I won't bore you with the details of it but surfice it to say that it is error corection for packets. Trouble is it adds 20-30 ms to a ping. If possible, it would be great if this could be made into a user configurable on the fly setting. Turnining it on for when we need it and off when it is hurting our connections. Howver baring that, just make it disableable . Other ISPs can do it, but not AT&T it seems.
