Rather an review your long post, I will tell you about my setup.  I am using my own router plugged into a LAN port on my Uverse box, but all my TV receivers are wired directly to the Uverse box.  I just use wireless exclusively for my PC's and wired for my Uverse box, blueray player, and Slingboxes.  They are on different networks this way, but I don't need them to be on the same network.  You can either choose to disable the Uverse wireless or ignore it.

I don't think the Uverse TV receivers can go through your second router.
