ATT representatives at the store or even Customer Service over the phone cannot tell you about your 4 digit passcode. And the only way you can get it is through text message to the phone itself. It cannot be sent to another number, nor to an email address. Customer service can send you the passcode to your phone via sms. And obviously you may not get that text message while in Europe as there is no roaming for Gophones in Europe. You may call Customer Service 8009019878 or 8003310500 to get an account specialist that can help you with your account to check your balance, add refill, and other account specific concerns.
