How much does your first bill for the go phone cost
is $50 or are you billed for the first and second month
You are not billed monthly but you pay for the airtime in advance, every month or whenever you need, depending on the plan you choose and how much money you want to keep in your account.
With a GoPhone, you put money in your account before you can use your phone. To put money in your account, you will buy refill cards in $15, $25, $50, $60, or $100 denominations. The refill cards have an expiration time: 30 days for $15, 90 days for $25, $50, $60 denominations, and 1 year for $100 denomination. To keep your phone active, you will need to have enough money in your account to pre-pay for your chosen plan, and you will need to extend the expiration date on your account as needed.
Each refill card has a PIN number that you will enter in your phone or online.
If you are on a $0.10/minute plan, the money in your account will get deducted $0.10 per minute of talk time. If you are on the $25 monthly plan, $25 will be deducted each month from your account balance, provided that your account balance is sufficient to pay for the plan.
