Hi, I've been paying about $100 a month for my family's 4 lines for the past 6 years, and I think it's too much. We often use less than 100 minutes per month (total), so I'd like to switch to prepaid phones in order to save money.

Now that my contract is up, here is my plan:

Switch all of the lines to prepaid accounts. I'd like to keep the same phones and numbers if possible. However, I'd like to get a smart phone (so 3 dumb phones and 1 smart phone). This would be my very first smart phone, so I doubt I would use it much.

Is it possible to have the smart phone use the 10 cent per minute prepaid rate for voice and the $19.99 for 100 MB?

How hard is it to keep my existing dumb phones (Sony Ericson Walkman 580i) and numbers but switch to prepaid?
